We left Rio Dulce, Guatemala, had a driving incident. We are all fine and got back on the road. We found a McDonalds Hamburger at Chiquimula on our way to Jocotan, Guatemala. Hopefully by tomorrow we will be at Copan Ruins in Honduras. Friday 1/31/14 drove to Rio Dulce, Guatemala what a narrow road through town. Drove over the birdge to gas station. Parked decided best way to get around was take a golf cart taxi. Had one place in mind but was just too muddy to get our rigs into the area. Next stop was a beautiful motel with great amenities but not good for RV Campers. We were told the electrician would be over shortly to install an electrical box so we could hook-up & camp. We looked at each other and decided "Posible Manana" standard answer. We left and went to Mar Marina which was suggested by Elmer Monastery who is boat tour gude and very informative. We hit the jackpot at this location. Beautiful accommodations. The restrooms and showers had hot water. There were laundry facilities and your clothes are washed and folded and brought to your abode. We were able to watch the Super Bowl at the Jade Sports Bar at Mar Marine. Had a fun time and dinner during 1/2 time. The Mar Marine is owned by Marlene who spent many years in Los Angeles and her standards are comparable to San Diego Marine Slips. Thanks to Marlene standards, she runs a top notch business and makes her guests feel right at home and the amenities are high standard. Highly recommend Mar Marine located under the bridge at Rio Dulce, Guatemala. Ermila
